Detailed Description:

This elegant Japanese porcelain teapot is decorated in the classic sometsuke blue-and-white style, featuring a soft botanical motif inspired by traditional Japanese aesthetics. The rounded body and balanced proportions make it both visually pleasing and comfortable to use.

The teapot is fitted with a natural bamboo handle, adding warmth and contrast to the smooth porcelain surface. Inside the spout, an integrated ceramic strainer allows for easy brewing of loose-leaf tea without the need for an additional infuser.

The lid bears the mark 祥峰 (Shōhō), indicating the kiln or workshop responsible for the piece. Teapots of this style are commonly associated with the Arita porcelain tradition, known for its refined white body and crisp cobalt-blue decoration.

Suitable for brewing Japanese green teas such as sencha, hojicha, or genmaicha, this teapot is ideal for everyday tea time as well as for collectors of Japanese tea ware.
