Amamari Kimonoban Binchotan Dehumidifying Sheet – Kimono & Yukata Storage, 2 Sheets

Amamari Kimonoban is a reusable dehumidifying and deodorizing sheet designed to help protect kimono, yukata, obi and other stored clothing from excess moisture.

It combines Binchotan charcoal-blended non-woven fabric with B-type silica gel, which absorbs moisture while helping control odors inside drawers, wardrobes and storage spaces.

Simply place the sheet at the bottom of a drawer or storage box. A built-in moisture indicator changes color when the sheet has absorbed moisture, letting you know when it is time to dry and regenerate it.

The sheets can also be cut with scissors to fit smaller storage areas such as shoe boxes, closets and footwear.

Moisture Indicator

The built-in regeneration indicator makes it easy to check the condition of the sheet.

• Blue: Ready to use

• Pink: Moisture has been absorbed and the sheet should be dried

When the indicator turns pink, place the sheet in the sun with the black Binchotan side facing outward.

Once the indicator returns to blue, the sheet can be used again.

How to Use

Place one sheet at the bottom of a drawer or storage compartment.

Do not place the sheet directly on top of the kimono.

Use with the black Binchotan side facing upward.

The sheet may also be:

Care & Regeneration

When the moisture indicator turns pink:

1. Remove the sheet from storage.

2. Place it in the sun with the black Binchotan side facing outward.

3. Allow it to dry until the indicator returns to blue.

4. Return the sheet to storage and continue using it.

Actual service life may vary depending on humidity, storage environment and frequency of regeneration.

This product helps control moisture and odors in enclosed storage spaces. It does not guarantee complete prevention of mold or mildew under all storage conditions.

For valuable or delicate kimono, regular airing and appropriate textile storage practices are also recommended.
