The Flying Dog Studio × Wpc. Compact Folding Parasol combines powerful Japanese sun protection with a playful all-over dog design. It features photographs of “flying dogs” captured mid-run with all four paws lifted from the ground, creating energetic and charming poses loved by dog enthusiasts.

Its compact five-section frame folds down neatly to fit inside a handbag or backpack pocket. The slim square shape is easy to store without taking up unnecessary space, making it ideal for commuting, school, travel and everyday summer outings.

Designed primarily as a parasol, it also has a water-repellent and waterproof finish for use in light rain.

Flying Dog Design

“Flying dog” photography captures dogs running at full speed at the exact moment when all four paws are off the ground, making them appear to fly.

The project began at Flying Dog Photography Studio on Awaji Island in Hyogo Prefecture. Certified photographers now hold flying-dog photo sessions throughout Japan.

Different umbrella colours may feature different breeds, expressions and running poses.

Rain Use Notice

This umbrella is intended primarily for sun protection but can also be used during light rain due to its water-repellent and waterproof treatment.

Avoid prolonged use during heavy rain, as water leakage, colour transfer or fabric penetration may occur. Due to the printed design and construction, water resistance may vary.

Allow the umbrella to dry completely before folding and placing it in the storage case. Do not store it while wet. Read the enclosed precautions before use.
