TACCIA developed the Ukiyo-e ink series to reproduce subtle Japanese color expressions that are difficult to describe with a single modern color name. The Hokusai collection includes four distinctive shades inspired by the visual world of Katsushika Hokusai. 

Four Hokusai-Inspired Colors

Choose from:

• Benitsuchi (Red Soil) – a warm earthy red
• Koiai (Dark Indigo) – a deep indigo blue
• Sabimidori (Rust Green) – a muted aged green
• Fukakihanada (Deep Blue) – a rich deep blue

These colors were supervised by a Japanese color consultant and produced as part of TACCIA's ukiyo-e inspired ink series. 

Water-Based Dye Ink

Each bottle contains 40 ml of aqueous dye fountain pen ink.

The formula is suitable for compatible fountain pens and is designed to provide rich color expression for writing, journaling, sketching and calligraphy-style use.

Inspired by Ukiyo-e

Ukiyo-e developed during Japan's Edo period and became known for its refined use of color and layered printing techniques.

TACCIA's Ukiyo-e Ink series takes inspiration from those traditional colors and translates them into fountain pen ink for modern writing and creative use.

Glass Bottle

Each ink comes in a compact glass bottle with a phenolic resin cap and PE gasket.

The square bottle shape makes it stable on a desk and easy to store with other bottled inks.
