FUMI features a distinctive body made with NAGORI™, a composite material derived from minerals found in seawater. The surface has a smooth, ceramic-like feel that is cool to the touch at first and gradually becomes comfortable as it warms in your hand.

Each barrel features a naturally varied marble-like pattern inspired by gentle ocean waves. Because of the characteristics of the material, no two pencils look exactly the same, giving every FUMI its own unique appearance.

The body has a substantial feel and a lower center of gravity toward the writing tip, helping the pencil remain stable during writing and reducing unwanted movement. Its metal front section also adds balance and precision, making it suitable for everyday writing, study and longer note-taking sessions.
